Let It Snow
Lyrics

Oh the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire is so delightful,
And since we’ve no place to go,
Let it snow.
Let it snow.
Let it snow.

It doesn’t show signs of stopping,
And I’ve bought some corn for popping,
The lights are turned way down low,
Let it snow.
Let it snow.
Let it snow.

When we finally kiss goodnight,
How I’ll hate going out in the storm.
But if you’ll really hold me tight,
All the way home I’ll be warm.

The fire is slowly dying,
And, my dear, we’re still good-bying,
But as long as you love me so,
Let it snow.
Let it snow.
Let it snow.

Originally known as Carol of the Drum this song was written in 1941 by Katherine Kennicott Davis. Sometimes you will see this song attributed to C. R. W. Robinson which is a pen name of K. K. Davis.

The Trapp Family Singers (the family that The Sound of Music is based on) popularized the song in the 1950s.

The Little Drummer Boy
Lyrics

Come they told me, pa rum pum pum pum
A new born King to see, pa rum pum pum pum
Our finest gifts we bring, pa rum pum pum pum
To lay before the King. pa rum pum pum pum
rum pum pum pum
rum pum pum pum

So to honor Him,
pa rum pum pum pum
When we come.

Little Baby, pa rum pum pum pum
I am a poor boy too. pa rum pum pum pum
I have no gift to bring, pa rum pum pum pum
That’s fit to give the King. pa rum pum pum pum
rum pum pum pum
rum pum pum pum

Shall I play for you
pa rum pum pum pum
On my drum?

Mary nodded, pa rum pum pum pum
The ox and lamb kept time, pa rum pum pum pum
I played my drum for Him, pa rum pum pum pum
I played my best for Him. pa rum pum pum pum
rum pum pum pum
rum pum pum pum

Then He smiled at me
pa rum pum pum pum
Me and my drum.
